I was enjoying this song tonight as I drove to a friends house and thought it would be a great one to pick this evening.

I had the great pleasure of seeing Ingrid in person on March 2nd and she was fantastic. Her vocals were as spot on as on the CD, but her personality and sense of humor nearly overshadowed her raging musical talent.

I adore her... and am so jealous... hahaha... not really. I just really admire her. I mean she kept our attention every moment. The portion of the show where she was playing piano and began questioning if the people above/beside the stage could see down her butt crack... it was just hilarious how candid and inviting she was. She made me a fan for life...

This song, "The Hat" is very creative and fun. Smart lyrics, (an Ingrid trait for sure), a fun arrangement, and it has some nice surprise change ups that are just invigorating!
