DAY 32
Antje Duvekot – “Dandelion”
From Boys, Flowers, Miles
This is one of my many favorite Antje Duvekot songs. I was blessed with the experience of Antje’s music at an Ellis Paul concert in Seattle, Wa., in April 2006 and was literally blown away.
Antje is so sweet, talented, and inviting. She makes you feel like she is an old friend even if it is your first time seeing her. She has the gift of story telling and throughout her performances she keeps you laughing and entertained 100% of the time.
Her vocals are so spot on and unique. She captures the same magic in a live show as she does on her CD’s if not more!
Usually when you go to a concert to see a specific artist you are ok with missing the opening act, but Antje was so amazing and such a treat to get to see live.
Dandelion is another one of those amazing relatable songs for me… it also is so incredibly descriptive in the lyric writing that you can actually see the story in your mind as the song plays.
A folk legend in the making… yes Miss Antje Duvekot has MUCH to offer the world of music and I look forward to ever note!
